With over 20 years of experience in the industry in both private and public work, Brendan has served in positions from Foreman to Area Manager and participated in projects from bid through closeout. He has supervised and estimated projects from a variety of public and government entities in Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Ohio, Texas, and Maryland.
His signature projects include the award-winning Roberts Road Diverging Diamond Interchange, the first DDI built in Ohio, where he was the project supervisor performing both the Superintendent and Project Manager duties. This $10.7-million A+B project was finished ahead of schedule and below budget, partly due to creating a new traffic sequence utilizing temporary concrete pavement that allowed a majority of the project to be built prior to the project’s 90-day bridge shutdown.
He has large project and design-build experience, including the $260-Million I-16 @ I-95 Improvement Projects, part of the Georgia Department of Transportation’s MMIP program; Brendan was the Construction and Procurement Manager through the early stages of the project, also serving as the contract required “Contractor Superintendent”, prior to joining Saorsa.
Brendan values having an outstanding relationship with the client and believes that all stakeholders in the project - owner, the public, contractor, subcontractors, and vendors - should be successful for the venture to be successful.
